Every Problem Has a Solution

During a recent custom towel project, we encountered a significant challenge. The client's design included a highly detailed pattern with extremely fine and dense lines. This pattern was a crucial emblem for their event theme—it could neither be altered nor omitted.

Typically, such intricate lines would print clearly on smooth surfaces like paper or plastic. However, towels have a textured, looped surface that is far from smooth. Printing directly onto the towel fabric risked blurring the lines and failing to meet the client's expectations for clarity.

We considered enlarging the pattern to make it easier to print, but this disrupted the visual balance with other elements on the towel. Clearly, that wasn't a viable solution.

Rather than simply telling the client "it can't be done," we focused on finding an alternative. After careful evaluation, we proposed printing the fine-line pattern on a synthetic woven label and sewing it onto the towel. This approach ensured the pattern would be sharp and clear while preserving the integrity of the event's iconic design.

The client appreciated the solution and quickly adapted their original design. As a result, the order proceeded smoothly and was successfully delivered.

This experience reinforced an important lesson: when conflicts arise between a client's design and production realities, the key is not to dwell on the problem but to explore creative alternatives.
